Jamshedpur Rape Case: Anushka Sharma Expresses Her Anger And Demands Justice For The 3-Year-Old Girl
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is known for taking risks and standing up for causes. Right from social issues to standing up for women’s rights, Anushka has been vocal about her opinions and has made the best use of her social media platforms. With a massive fan-base, the actress holds the power to try and bring about a change and makes sure she does the best she can. Now, Anushka Sharma has raised her voice on Jamshedpur rape case in a series of Tweets.

In a heartbreaking incident, a 3-year- old girl from Jamshedpur was kidnapped and was gang-raped and brutally beheaded. The incident has shaken the country and has people demanding justice for the minor. Anushka Sharma too expressed her anger and disgust in a series of Tweets and demanded justice for the 3- year- old girl. Her Tweet read, “A 3-year-old girl who was sleeping besides her mother at a railway station was kidnapped, gang-raped and beheaded in Jamshedpur. This is so inhuman and vile, it is literally making me shake in anger. Absolutely horrifying.”  In another tweet, she added, “I hope and wish and urge justice is brought upon this atrocity at the earliest. And punishment so severe that anyone else shudders to commit such a heinous, demonic crime !”




Anubhav Sinha, director of Article 15, also replied to the actress’ Tweet and wrote, "Let me give you a bad news. This is just the start. We all have a sleepy wild animal inside ourselves. That animal is awaking slowly."


The spine- chilling case has left the nation jolted.  The girl’s body was recovered from Telco police station in Jamshedpur on Tuesday. The men accused in the crime have been arrested.
